It is with heavy hearts that the families of Ronald David Pye announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children Dale (Sherry), Holly (Gervin), Lynne (Wayne), Fawn, Ronald (Tara), Roxann (Rob) and Stacy (Jason), his 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, his siblings Lou (Maud) and Pearl (Bruce) Simmons, in-laws Patricia Stewart, Diane Cross, Margaret Janes, Grace Bailey, Jane (Bob) Wilton, Lillian (Russell) Reid, Melvin (Wavey) Cross and Shirley Cross. Also leaving to mourn, a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Ronald has been predeceased by his wife Brenda, daughter Connie, parents Harold and Beatrice, father and mother-in-law Bride and Henry Cross, siblings Tom, Jack, Boyd (Clarice), Annie (Willie) and Violet (Jerry), in-laws Don, Julia (Wince), Gertie (Oliver), George Bailey and Doyle Janes, nephews Wayne Guinchard and Dwayne Cross. In keeping with Ronald's wishes, cremation will take place, and the memorial service will be held at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Friday, December 23, 2016, at 2 pm, with Rev.
