Parker, Miriam Rita 86 of Windsor, passed away December 23, 2016 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born October 16, 1930 in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Lena (Benedict) Taylor. Survived by sons Robert (Christine), Three Mile Plains; Dale (Christine), Garlands Crossing; daughter, Beverly (Wayne) Patterson, St. Croix; grandchildren, Shawn Parker, Tracey Young, Michael Patterson (Shannon Caldwell), Corey Patterson, Tamara Patterson, Jason (Tanya) Parker, and Nicholas (Missy) Parker; several great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Smith, Windsor; Joan Armstrong, Kempt Shore; Faye (Donald) Brooks, Three Mile Plains; Doreen Hunter, Windsor; brother, Ronald Taylor, Greenwood. Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Horace; son, Donald Parker; brothers, Danny Taylor and Garry Taylor; sister, Betty Cochrane. Memorial service was held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 902-798-2232, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. Rev. Garnet Parker officiated. A private family burial was held in Maplewood Cemetery, 1186 King Street, Windsor.
