It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alice Gladys Giles announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the age of 51 years. She will be lovingly remembered by sons: Wayne David Giles (Amanda), Kevin Giles (Nikita), and Nathan Giles (Taylor); mother Elaine Coombs (Lawrence); very special partner Rick Ellsworth; siblings: Ellen Coombs (Derek), Isaac Coombs (Kim), and Daisy McDonald (Gary); grandchildren: Chezney, Brianna, Jensen, Ryker, Chloe, and Claire; mother-in-law Betty Ellsworth; brothers-in-law: Freddie Ellsworth (Donna), Barry Ellsworth (Jeannie), Claude Ellsworth Jr. (Marlene), and Jason Ellsworth (Amanda); sisters-in-law: Melita Ellsworth, Claudine Pitts (Howard), Angela Ellsworth (Ralph), Josephine Ellsworth, and Treena Ellsworth; special friends Gwen and Dan Cullihall; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Isaac Coombs and her father-in-law Claude Ellsworth. In keeping with Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Chapel, 167 Country Road on Thursday, January 5, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-8 p.m., from where a Service of Remembrance will take place at 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date.
