Passed away peacefully at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the age of 80. Born in Hunts Island, she was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Chant) Ingram. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons, Calvin (Patsy) Leamon, David Leamon, James Leamon, daughters, Irene (Kenneth) Poirier and Jessie Leamon, granddaughters, Cathy Leamon, Nadine Leamon, Kelly Poirier, and Terrilynn Leamon, brothers and sisters, Louis Ingram, Margaret Hann, Calvin Ingram, Wayne Ingram, Cora Tom and Kay Mercer, as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil, sisters, Hattie Hann and Emily Ingram. The family received family and friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port-aux-Basques on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service took place on Wednesday, January 4 at 11 a.m. from Wesley United Church with Rev. Kathleen Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Wesley United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mamie can be made to Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Foundation.
