Passed away in the presence of her loving and devoted husband Richard and loving son Justin after a courageous battle with cancer. Beverley fought the good fight with grace and dignity. She is predeceased by her father Michael Power, mother Kathleen Power (Coady); brother Larry Power; sisters Margaret Ryan and Elizabeth Power; father in law Gerald Kelly and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Pat and Cynthia Kelly.
Beverley leaves to mourn her devoted husband Richard Kelly and loving son Justin (Alicia Laite); and her two furry friends Ty and Haley.Also left with fond and loving memories are her sisters: Marie Strickland, Catherine Pittman, Frances Evoy (John), Ruth Foster(John), Carol Lundrigan(John): brothers: Tom Power (Barb) and Michael Power whom she loved dearly; one aunt Mary Coady; also her mother in law Mary Kelly; her brother-in-law, Brian Kelly (LouAnn); sisters-in-law: Anita Molloy (Bill), Judi Greene (Brian),Arlene Power (Tom), and Dianne Snarby (Harald). There are numerous nieces and nephews who were proud to call her aunt, especially Greg. She made many life long friends and she will be dearly missed. Special thanks to Doctor Kara Laing and staff of the Bliss Murphy Cancer Center, Dr.Denis O'Keefe Commonwealth Medical Center.Thank you also to the nursing staff of 5 north A Health Science Center. Thank you also to Wanda Hindy and her staff at Dominion Pharmacy Mount Pearl. Visitation will be at Barrett's funeral home, 73Commonwealth Ave. Mount Pearl, Saturday, January 7th, 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm-5:00pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial service to be held from St. Peter’s Parish, Ashford Drive, on Monday, January 9th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Beverley's name to the NL.
