At the PCH on Wednesday, January 18th, 2017, of Arthur George Fleigher of North Tryon, age 98 years. Veteran of World War ll. Art served as a member of the Royal Canadian Dragoons for five years. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Thomson). He is survived by several nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Lillian Roper, Millie McEachern, Joyce Campbell, Ruth Cutcliffe, Elizabeth Cutcliffe, and brother-in-law Raymond Thomson. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Eliza (Mallett) Fleigher, sisters Helen and Annie, and brothers Jack and Charlie. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, from where a memorial service will be held Saturday, January 21st, 2017, at 11 a.m. Borden Legion Branch #10 will hold a service of remembrance at 10:30. No visitation by personal request. If so desired memorial donations to North Tryon Presbyterian Building Fund would be appreciated.
