Leaving us much too soon but with a lifetime of memories to cherish, Patsy passed away after a very brief, brave battle with cancer at HSC in St John's. Patsy was predeceased by her mother Mary, brother Frank and other members of the Bennett, Murphy and Tricco families. Left to celebrate her life, is her loving husband of almost 53 years, Ed; three children Barry (special daughter-in-law and friend Brenda), Donna James (Steve), Tina Tricco (Taka Suzuki); her five precious grandchildren Janet Decker (Brent), Jillian Tricco (Matt), Nicholas and Noelle Suzuki, Abbi James; siblings Don, Donna Johnson (Jim), Joan Crouse, Agatha Bannon, Richard (Mary); sister-in-law Verna. The Tricco family: Mary Ryan, Louise Smith, Helen Martin, Marg Rumbolt (Eric), Lillian Smith, Joe (Margie), Carol, Barbara (Ron Miller); many nieces and nephews (whom she cherished), cousins and friends including special friends Margie and Robert Coffey and family, Anita Fagan, Rowie Oliver, Shirley Baker and Kay McArthur. Patsy resided in St. John's until 2003 when she moved to Gander. She was very active in her community volunteering with several community groups and enjoyed quilting, a good card game, and was an avid bowler for many years. The family would like to thank all those who have supported us in her recent illness. We are overwhelmed by the kindness we have been shown. Special thanks to the various medical teams at HSC who cared for Patsy, including the nurses at 4NA and a special thanks to Dr. K. Downton and Dr. Woolridge. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
