At the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 of Brenda Catherine (nee Gillis) Bos of Fort Augustus, age 77 years. Beloved wife of Ben Bos. Devoted and loving mother of Nancy (Brad) Brandon. Adored and very special Nanny of David (Emily), Mark (Jodie Lambie), Emily and Rebecca. Loving sister of Arlene Gillis and Judy Chipman. Sister-in-law of Bernie Gillis and Adele Gillis. Niece of Eleanor (Mannus - predeceased) Halman. Greatly missed by the Bos family, her many nieces, nephews, cousins and her many dear and special friends. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Margaret (nee Bradley) Gillis, her sister Joan (Ralph) Newell, brothers Alan and David Gillis. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 4 - 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre or Cystic Fibrosis Canada (PEI Chapter), would be appreciated.
