The death occurred peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, of Janet MacKenzie (nee Whelan), in her 57th year. Beloved wife of Billy MacKenzie. Sister of Terry Whelan (Sharon) of Hong Kong, and Carolyn Murnaghan, Charlottetown. Much loved aunt of Justin and Cole Murnaghan. Pre-deceased by her parents Bill and Agatha Whelan; sister Jennifer; parents-in-law Rowan and Mary MacKenzie; and brothers-in law Hal MacKenzie and Peter Murnaghan. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
