SCOVILLE, James Kenneth – age 86, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2017 at the Villa St-Joseph-du-Lac. He worked many years at Cosmos Imperial Mills and was self-employed driving a mobile coffee wagon. One of his fondest memories was serving coffee and snacks to the passengers of the only 747 airplane to land in Yarmouth in the 1970’s. After retirement he enjoyed photography and playing cards, especially with his grandchildren who loved beating him at crib. He was also an avid musician. Ken was predeceased by his mother, Lillian, a brother Donald and sister, Pauline. He is survived by his siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Chandler, Dr. Wertlen and staff of the Villa St-Joseph-du-Lac who took great care of him for the eight years he was there. He enjoyed bantering with the staff who gave as good as they got. Arrangements entrusted to Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. There will be no funeral or service at his request.
