FLOYD VOUTIER

Obituary
FLOYD DOUGLAS VOUTIER
October 20, 1957 – January 21, 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Floyd Voutier announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on January 21, 2017 at the age of 59 years. Floyd leaves behind loving children Karen and Son-in-law Dan Galasso, grand-daughters Hannah, Hailey & Sofia and his son Daniel Voutier and daughter-in-law Alexis Westbrook, grand-dog Mavis whom all loved him dearly. Parents Clyde and Dulcie (nee Clark) Voutier, brothers Keltie Voutier, sister-in-law Betty Voutier and Bradley, sister-in-law Glenys and sister Penny and brother-in-law Larry Witten. He leaves to mourn his extended family and a large circle of many friends who have made this difficult time easier to bear because of your presence, care and compassion. Floyd was pursuing his dream in Codroy Valley and working aboard the boats. Music and laughter were always guaranteed with the wee feller. Floyd made friends easily, and loved to tell his jokes and stories - he had a nickname for everyone, and many made up songs that were guaranteed to be too inappropriate to repeat. Floyd had his own signature style, he took fashion cues from no one. His every day look was all his own, a plain button up shirt, flannel jacket, paired with a baseball cap. Floyd was loved by many, he was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all. In keeping with Floyd's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation. A celebration of Floyd's life will take place on May 27, 2017 with funeral service time to be announced in Port Aux Basque at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements were in the care of East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, 695-2300. www.easthavenfuneralhome.com
