Ramona “Mona” Morrison, age 77, of Pictou, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Ernie; daughter, Robyn; granddaughters, Jordanne and Kellie; great-grandson, Mathieu; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Bernice and Joseph Bateman; brothers, Joe and Charles sister-in-law, Clara and niece, Trudy. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday in the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, from where funeral will be held 11 AM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
