Patrick J. ‘Patty’ Brezuk, age 66, passed away on February 3, 2017 at Celtic Court, Sydney. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Thomas Dwyer and Helen Brezuk. Patty spent most of his life at the Breton Ability Centre where his quiet and gentle nature will be missed. He was a beautiful soul who will never be forgotten and forever loved and missed by his family. He is survived by his sisters, Helen Newell and Bernadette Dwyer (David Martin), both of Sydney, Linda (Blaine) Rafuse and Mary Dwyer, both of Halifax and Elizabeth (Randy) Campbell, Inverness; brothers, Thomas Dwyer, Glace Bay and Alex Brezuk, Sydney; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family at Breton Ability Centre.
Patty was predeceased by brother, Joseph Tramble and brother-in-law, Edgar Newell. Visitation will be held be held 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, both at T. W. Curry Parkview Chapel, Rev. Paul Murphy will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
