The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on February 3, 2017, with his family by his side, of William Floyd Singleton, Montague and formerly of Murray River in his 56th year. Left to mourn are his children William (Amy), Stacey (Mike), Mitchelle (Brooke), Tyler and Cody; step-daughters Michelle and Courtney; special friend Dawn; and grandchildren Dallas, Samara, Isak, Brandon, Nathan, Mikayla, Dexter and Oliver. Survived by brothers Alvin (Beryl), Jimmy, Ronnie (Donna) and Edwin; sisters Phyllis MacLean, Lois MacKinnon, and Dorothy (Irving) Hayter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Pearley and Anna Mae (Richards) Singleton; Infant sister Doris Jean; brother Wayne; infant son Eric; and brothers-in-law Francis MacLean and Peter MacKinnon. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River for visitation on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 7 at 2 p.m. Interment in Murray River Cemetery.
