Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Agnes Pratt Home on Sunday, February 5, 2017. John Brace aged 91 years. Predeceased by his loving wife: Nellie Brace (nee Parsons) and infant daughter: Elizabeth. Leaving to mourn his sons: Nelson (Marion), Allan (Cathy), Randy (Joan) and Rodney (Paula); daughters: Myra (Warren), Dorothy (Peter), 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; members of the Whalen family, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends - including the Antle Family and Wade White. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Cremation will follow visitation. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
