It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacob Quincy Squires on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Bernice (nee Hindy); two children: Nina (Frank) Webber, Stephen (Michelle) Squires; grandchildren: Adam and Jasper; brother: James (Margaret) Squires; brother's-in-law: Norman (Barb), Robert (Shirley), Melvin (Marilyn); sister's-in-law: Bessie (John), Doris (Michael), Sandra (Paul); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephew's other relatives and friends and two special friends Linda Young and Maxine Hindy. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 9th at 2:00 PM from First Pentecostal Church 58 Premier Drive, Pastor Larry Soper officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
