FAYE STRAND
1941 – 2017
Faye passed away February 2, 2017 in Moose Jaw, at the age of 75, with her sons Kevin and Todd, granddaughter Logan, as well as Providence Place staff by her side. Faye grew up in Wilcox, Saskatchewan; eventually moving to BC to raise her family. She returned to Avonlea, Sk to be closer to her family, some years later she moved to Moose Jaw. Faye is predeceased by parents Walter and Leah Gehm; brother Wayne Gehm and sister Verna Kvisle. Faye will be sadly missed by her sons Kevin and Todd, granddaughter Logan, and daughter Jennifer and her family, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wished to send a special thank you to the staff at Providence Place for all their love and care through Faye’s stay. Respecting Faye’s wishes there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association. In living memory of Faye, a memorial planting will be made by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
