Passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the L.A. Miller Center PCU surrounded by her family. Bette Powell age 79 years. Predeceased by her parents: Captain John C. and Grace Davis; sisters: Ruby Davis and Marie Quinn and brother: Chris Davis. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband of 58 years John; her son Tony (Judy) and her daughter Kim (Chris Noseworthy); her grandsons who were her greatest treasures: David Powell, Colby Stamp and Clarke Noseworthy; brothers: Tom (Marjorie) Davis and Cal Davis (Maureen); special cousin Doreen (Lorne) Squires; best friend Eileen (John) Sullivan and long time neighbours and friends of Roland Drive. Also, leaving to mourn extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church.
