Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, March 4, 2017, Frederick Melvin Davis of Carbonear, age 92 years. Predeceased by his loving wife: Emma, granddaughter: Kimmie, grandson: Stephen, and sisters: Anne and Marjorie. Leaving to mourn, children: Melvin (Carol), Chilliwack, BC, Reg (Millie), Spruce Grove, AB, Jeff (Donna), Paradise, and Diane Forward (Bob), Mount Pearl, eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers: Clyde (Yvonne), Sam, and Everett (Evelyn); sisters: Florence Perry, Carol Wilkinson (Bob), and Glenys McNeil (Don); brother-in-law: Reginald Budden; as well as a large number of relatives and friends.
