It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Anthony Vincent Canova, 36, formerly of Halifax. Born March 21st, 1980 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Glace Bay, beloved son of Margaret Dunphy and Vince Canova, and brother to Troy; he will be terribly missed by his family and friends. He is predeceased by both sets of grandparents. Anthony lived in Dominion, Cape Breton until age 10 when he moved to Sackville, Nova Scotia. He worked in the oil and gas industry in Fort St. John for several years, along with his father and brother. Anthony's warmth and generosity of spirit made him an easy friend, and he will be remembered best for his kindness and infectious laugh. His unconditional love and frequent hugs will be especially missed by his mother. Special thanks to Anthony’s Uncle Peter and Aunt Michele and cousins Peter and Jennifer for their support. Cremation has already taken place. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. In memory of Anthony’s giving nature, donations to your local food bank in his name would be appreciated.
