Passed peacefully away at U.S. Memorial Hospital, St. Lawrence on Sunday, March 12, 2017, Elam Curtis King of Harcourt, aged 77 years. Predeceased by wife Lydia; parents Levi and Miriam King; brother Stuart (Anita); son Gene King; step-son Todd Francis; step-grandson Michael and step-great-grandson Bentley Curnew. Left with fond and loving memories his daughters Yvonne (Bruce), and Bridie (Luc); sons Keith King, Greg King (Crystal); Jarod King (Tammy), Harold King (Mary) and Curtis King (Kerri); step-daughters Alice Francis, Cindy Murphy (Ted) and Ruth Platts (Martin); step-sons Rick Francis (Mercedes) and John Francis; sister Rozlin Spurrell (Glen); 19 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; and a large number of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Thursday, March 16 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment at United Cemetery, Harcourt. In his memory, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
