1930-2017
Gordon passed away peacefully on March 10, 2017 in Ajax, Ontario with family by his side. Gordon began his career in Alberton, P.E.I. as a CNR Station Agent and Telegraph Operator. After serving in this capacity in various Island stations, he moved to Ontario where he was a CNR dispatcher at Hornepayne and later at Maple which was also connected to the Go train. After retirement, he became an avid gardener and also travelled extensively, making friends wherever he went. He had a great love for life including his grandchildren, his sailboat, his dogs and the Masonic Lodge. He was a dedicated Blue Jays fan and followed them with passion! Included in Gordon's surviving family members is his only sibling Jean Farris of Charlottetown. At his request a private masonic service will be held.
