Monica (MacNeil) Mansell
We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our sister, Mrs. Monica McNeil Mansell. Monica was the daughter of the late Michael and Clara (Campbell) McNeil. Monica graduated from the St. Anne’s High and Teachers College and taught at St. John’s School with her close friend, Sister Ellen Donovan. She married her love, Joe Mansell from Ireland, (deceased 1993) and together they raised three daughters, Joanne, Janice and Cathy and one son, Steven (deceased 2015). Monica is survived by sisters, Catherine (Art-deceased) Bray, Mary (Pat) Bray, Jean (Angus-deceased) MacDonald, Alex (Erika) McNeil, Michael (Carol) McNeil, Clare (Art) O’Regan, Patricia (Barry) Brown, Anne (Jack) Neary, Stephanie (Mark) Clarke, Marguerite (Rod) MacNeil, and Teresa (Peter) Garcin.
Monic was predeceased by sister, Francie (Tom) MacDonald. The funeral Mass took place March 15, 2017, St. Alexander Parish, Fonthill, Ontario.
