Peacefully with his family by his side at the Garden Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 of Reid McKenna of Charlottetown, Veteran of World War II, age 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (nee MacDonald) McKenna. Dear father of Ginny (Bob) Gardham, Pat (Dave) Campbell, Cindy (Peter Buker), Mike (Patty Smollett), Linda (Rick) Dumont, Donna, Jim (Cathy MacDonald), Rosemary (Damon Compton) and Scott (Collette Slade). He is also lovingly remembered by his 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brothers-in-law Ken (Ann) MacDonald, Wayne (Pat) MacDonald and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his parents Patrick and Marion (Reid) McKenna, brother Joe and sister Eileen in infancy. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 5-8 p.m.
