Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre in St. John's, on Saturday, March 18, 2017, Carol Mary Sparkes (nee Greenland), age 66 (December 25, 1950 - March 18, 2017). Predeceased by her mother Lillian Mary Greenland (nee Wakeham) on January 18, 1988. Survived by her husband Barry R. Sparkes; son Neil B. Sparkes (Jessica Maddigan) and precious grandson Asher Neil Sparkes; brothers: Ron and Les; nieces: Cynthia, Sonya and Courtney and their families; as well as other relatives and friends. A very special thank you to all Carol's medical care workers for their valued support. No visitation. Service to take place at Barrett's Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
