The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, March 18, 2017, of Blanche Skiffington, of Summerside, aged 78 years. Born in Trinity Bay, NL, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Blanche Tibbs and the late Edgar and Delilah Penney. Survived by her children Betty Sagi (Ray Hatch), Gilda Stephens (Mike Gallant), Pheobe (Danny) Kelly, Terry (Donna) Skiffington, Andre (Cheryl) Skiffington, Kim (Kevin) Baglole and Ruby Skiffington (Perry Newman); by 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and by a sister Phyllis Skiffington. Predeceased by her husband Gilbert “Gil” Skiffington; and by a great-grandson Clive Jones. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service.
