Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, March 28th 2017, Margaret Penney (nee Sommers) formerly of Victoria, NL, in her 71st year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband, John; daughters: Christine Butt (Bruce, deceased), Michelle Williams (Tom) and son, Geoffrey (Tannis); grandchildren: Marcus, Ryan, Janelle, Shane and Lilah; sisters: Elizabeth Stevenson (Ron, deceased), Jeanette Ralph (Boyd), Olive Evely (Malcom Ferguson), Phyllis Rumbolt (Bill), Florence Sheppard (Dave), and Velma Antle (Tom Snow); brothers: Oral Sommers (Martina Hogan), Lloyd Sommers (Winnie) and Eric Sommers (Denise); as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, March 29, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm and Thursday, March 30, from 10:00am - 12:00noon, 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
