It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Emiline Joyce (MacAskill) Campbell of Englishtown, age 68, on March 28, 2017 while in the Victoria County Memorial Hospital. Born in Englishtown December 11, 1948 she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (MacAskill) MacAskill. Emmy is survived by her son, Sandy (Daria); daughter, Monica (Jim); treasured grandchildren, Tom and Jenna; siblings, Jane MacPherson, Carola (Roddie) MacDonald, Barbara Egan, Kenny (Lillian) MacAskill, Angus (Marion) MacAskill, Norman (Patsy) MacAskill, John (Donelda) MacAskill and George (Marguerite) MacAskill.
She is predeceased by her husband, Carl Campbell and siblings, Laura, Jessie, Tina, Anna, Allister and Archibald. Our mother loved people. She meant so much to so many and in so many different ways it’s impossible to summarize the wonderful woman she was in just a few lines. She lived, she loved and she most certainly knew how to laugh. Well known for a smile that would easily light a room, she will forever live on in our hearts.
Cremation has taken place, a celebration of Emmy’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Englishtown Community Hall.
