New Glasgow - Kathleen Anita “Kay” Snyder, age 72, of New Glasgow, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017, surrounded by loved ones, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Gregory and Bernice Snyder. Kay is survived by daughter, Rachel; son, David, both of New Glasgow; sister, Gloria (Scott) MacLean, New Glasgow; brother, Michael (Mary) Spooney, North Sydney; grandchildren, Bailey and Mackenzie Cameron, Hopewell; 7 nephews; 3 nieces; chosen daughter, Dawn Wagner; several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by 9 siblings. There will be no visitation or service at Kay’s request. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
