Passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 10, 2017. Bill Butler age 71 years. Predeceased by his parents: Violet and Archibald and his brother Hedley. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted wife of 49 years Roberta (nee Hatcher); his children: Lisa (Chad) Lowe, Cindy (Loren) Allen and Mark (Neila); the love of poppy's life grandson Mason Allen as well as Stephen Lowe and Ryan Payne; mother-in-law: Lillian Hatcher; brothers: Ben (Shirley) and Reg (Jackie); sister-in-law Dallas Butler and a large circle of family and friends. Bill will always be remembered as a dedicated Mason for over 30 years, he was Past Master of Lodge Westmoorland. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Parish of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
