Eagles, Morris Dwight, 66, Great Village, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, surrounded by his family. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Walter and Eva (Rushton) Eagles. Known to most as Moke, he loved music, his guitars and his family.
He is survived by sisters Rose Richards and Donna Joseph; children Calvin, Timmy, Danny, Natasha, Coressa; step-children Weldon, Shelly, Marlene, Sherry; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his biological parents Stewart and Thelma (Rushton) Eagles; brothers Timmy, Myles; sister Elda.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A Celebration of Life for Morris will take place at a later date in the Londonderry Community Hall, Londonderry and burial will also take place at a later date in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Londonderry. Donations in memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
