Passed away suddenly in St. John's on April 9, 2017 after a brief illness at the age of 54 years. He was predeceased by parents, John and Rosalie. Leaving to mourn his sister, Elizabeth, brother-in-law Jackson Wang and nephew Hardy Wang. Also, cousin and husband Elizabeth and John Scurrey, cousin and wife Eric and Elizabeth Hussey and cousin and husband Doris and Tom Sheppard, along with many other relatives and friends. Eric worked at the Learning Resource Distribution Centre in Pleasantville for over 20 years and will be missed by his colleagues and friends there. He was also an avid paintball player and his absence will be felt on the field by his many pals. He enjoyed "trouting", camping, and gaming. He was a collector and took pleasure in the art of negotiation. He was fond of travelling to Toronto to visit family and of strolling the streets there. Family and friends may pay their respects at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM. There will be words of remembrance and prayers in the visitation room on Saturday at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00AM.
