Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Monday, April 10, 2017, Doris Smith of Gooseberry Cove, aged 82 years. Predeceased by husband Roy; brother Harvey and daughter-in-law Cindy. Left with fond and loving memories her children Ron, Paul (Brenda) and Hughie (Connie); grandchildren Nancy (Mike), Todd (Michelle), Douglas (Darlene), Cortney (Cody), Victoria (Michael) and Megan (Donald); great grandchildren Nicholas, Nathan, Mason, Olivia, Terrence, Seraya, Sophie, Charlee and John; sisters Flo Peddle (Max) and Joyce Seward (Clarence); brothers Al Spurrell (Verna), John Spurrell (Elaine), Lloyd (Marian) and Harold (Mary); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Gooseberry Cove with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Gooseberry Cove. In her memory donations may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund, Gooseberry Cove.
