The death occurred peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2017, of Hilda MacDonald (nee Gallant), in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Roddie MacDonald. Loving mother of Sherry (David) Cheverie. Nanny to Gabrielle, Nathaniel and Ezekiel; Grand Nanny to Ava-Grace, Annabelle and Mylah-Rae. Predeceased by son Barry. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Thursday morning, April 27th at St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery at a later date.
