It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas Targett announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 58 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Dee Lake; mother Gertrude Targett; brothers: David (Brenda), Gary (Rosemary), Joseph (Bim) and Gerald (Connie); sisters: Gertie (Bob) McDonald, Judy (Jim) Hubbard, Delores (Terry) Hynes; a very special niece Jessica and her son David Arthur; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Arthur Targett; sister Barbara; nephew David; and special friend Paula Joyce. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday, April 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street on Friday, April 28 at 2 PM with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
