Arnold Goreham
Goreham, Arnold Maurice – 89, Wood’s Harbour, Shelburne County died on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on July 15, 1927, he was a son of the late Charles and Charlotte (Smith) Goreham. He was a fisherman all of his working life. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Arnold is survived by companion, Joan Reede and her sons, Raymond (Tina), Hartley, Kirk (Sandra); sons, Maurice (Rose), Wood’s Harbour, Hubert (Anne Marie), Shag Harbour, Kevin (Tammie), Forbes Point; daughters, Joy (Timothy) Stoddard, Bear Point, Carla Nickerson (Andy), Clyde River, Krista (Martin) Nickerson, Wood’s Harbour; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; special neighbors, Della (Perry) Crowell. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Goodwin); brothers, Burnley, Norman, Albert, Hubert; sisters, Annie, Nina, a sister in infancy. Visitation was 7-9p.m., Saturday, May 6 & 7-9p.m., Sunday at the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Funeral service took place 4p.m., Monday at the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, Pastor Rod Guptil officiating. Burial was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wood’s Harbour.
