CROWELL, Marion Edith – 83, Barrington, formerly of Centreville, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in Bay Side Home, Barrington. Born September 20, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Isiah and Mary (Burke) Firth. Marion enjoyed bowling, bingo and going on trips. She was a family oriented woman and loved all of the time she got to enjoy with her family. She is survived by sons, Barry (Kathleen), Barrington Passage; Anthony (Rose), Bear Point; Steven (Krista), Clark’s Harbour; Wally, Centreville; Karl (Cindy), Barrington Passage; Patrick (Jill), Clark’s Harbour; daughter, Mary (Clifford) Nickerson, North East Point; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Donald; brothers, Victor, Rodney, Ivan; sisters, Viola, Evelyn, Elizabeth, Thelma, and Jessie. The funeral service was held Sunday, May 14, 2 p.m., at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, and Pastor Michael Owen officiated. Interment followed in the Birch Hill, Bear Point. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund, Alzheimer’s Society, or the Salvation Army.
