We, the family of the late Daniel Joseph MacLellan, wish to express our most sincere appreciation to our relatives, friends and neighbours for the compassion shown to us during our recent loss. In particular to family members who travelled from near and far; your presence meant a lot to us. To everyone who visited our home, sent food, cards, floral tributes and donations to charities in his memory, we appreciated your kindness. Thank you to everyone who attended the visitation and funeral., special thanks to Fr. Ray Huntley and Deacon Leo Penny from the Parish of Saint Leonard and Fr. Albert MacPherson for concelebrating the Mass held on May 8, 2017. Sincere thanks to the Parish of Saint Leonard Funeral Choir, as well as Mario Colosimo for his beautiful rendition of “Danny Boy” and to all others who participated in the liturgy. We would also like to express our appreciation to the members of the Royal Canadian Legion for their presence and prayers. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to John McLellan and Staff of McLellan Brothers Funeral Home. Your compassion and caring helped us through a difficult time.
