It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nigel Watson announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 at the age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Rita, his son Michael (Annette Hart) in Burns Lake, BC, his two daughters Brigitte (Mark) White in Corner Brook and Kimberley (David) Loppie in Halifax, NS, his nine grandchildren James, Zachary, Jacob, Kathryn, Jordan, Noah, Ty-Ann, Micah and Kiara. He also leaves to mourn his brother Leo (Bride) Watson in Montreal, his three sisters Rachel MacFarlane and Jenetta (Gil) O'Keefe both in Stephenville Crossing and Rhona Hynes in Corner Brook, his daughter-in-law Jill along with a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ann Watson and his sister Madonna O'Keefe. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at 10 am from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.
