Passed peacefully at The Mount Continuing Care Community on Monday, May 22, 2017, of Sister Mary Walker, CSM of Charlottetown, age 83 years. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Mary (nee Morrisey) Walker. Sister Mary is survived by her foster brother - Donnie Gimbel and will be fondly remembered by her Martha Sisters and close cousins. She was predeceased by her sister - Sister Rita Walker, CSM and two sisters in infancy; her fosters brothers - George Bambrick and Paul MacKinnon. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home then transferred to The Mount Continuing Care Community for visitation Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at The Mount Chapel at 1 p.m. Please note, there will be no visiting hours prior to the funeral. Interment will follow at the Congregation of St. Martha Cemetery. Due to allergies please refrain from wearing scents.
