David Carlson Wilson
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David Carlson Wilson, age 76, of Springhill, NS, on Friday, December 16, 2016 at High Crest Nursing Home, Springhill.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Frank and Marjorie (Ryan) Wilson.
David was a loyal employee for CNR for over 35 years where he made many lasting friendships.
He is survived by his sister Frances Wilson (Sam Modica), Campbellford, ON, and several nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister Elizabeth.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). Visiting hours for David will be held at A H Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 2 to 3 pm, followed immediately by a funeral service at 3 pm, with The Reverend Wayne McCarther officiating. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
If so desired donations in David's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Children's Wish Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
David's family would like to take this opportunity to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those at High Crest Nursing Home who took such wonderful care of David during his lengthy stay with them.
