(1919-2008) Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, Edward J. Ryan in his 88th year. Predeceased by his loving son Walter, 2003; his parents Elizabeth & Jerome Ryan; brothers Clem and wife Marie, Jim and Gabriel. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his darling wife Elizabeth (Lizzie) of 67 years; daughters Margie (Aiden Howell), Joan (Felix Lake); sons Edward (Eileen), Bill (Shirley) and daughter-in-law Joyce; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters Nora Andrews (John Hart), Esther O'Brien, Regina (Albert Brown); brothers Larry (Betty), Alban, Jerome (Helen); sisters-in-law Gertie Ryan, Kathleen Ryan, numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Enright Memorial Chapel, St. Joseph's. Visitation on Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral will take place 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from St. Joseph's Church, St. Joseph's.
