Passed away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, Grand Falls-Windsor, on March 24, Mr. Jack Hynes of Change Islands, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents Gertrude and Frank, and brothers Aiden and Harry. Leaves to mourn sister-in-law Edna; nieces: Joan (Bernard) Peckford, Marilyn (Tom) Closs; nephews: Ross (Marilyn) Hynes, Frank (Cindy) Hynes and Jack (Roxanne) Hynes, Mildred and Delmon, Eliza; and a large number of friends. Jack was a member of the Brotherhood of Anglican Churchman, the Society of United Fisherman, the Orange Lodge, the Royal Black Preceptory and the Masonic Lodge. Special thanks and appreciation is given to Rev. Perry Cooper, Rev. Calvin Coates, A.C.W., Grand Falls Hospital, Lewisporte Clinic, Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, pallbearers, organist Euneice Coffin, those who visited Jack during his illness, those who gave food and sent cards of sympathy.
