(nee Gorman (September 21, 1921 - April 14, 2008). Passed away as she lived in peace and surrounded by love at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Monday, April 14, 2008, Mary (Dish) Woodford of Harbour Main in her 87th year. Predeceased by her parents: Walter and Elizabeth (nee Wall) Gorman, and infant son, Douglas; brothers: Patrick, James, John, and Walter Gorman; sister, Cecilia McLoughlin; father and mother-in-law: Matthew and Dorothy Woodford and brother-in-law Matthew Woodford. Left with fond and loving memories are her devoted and loving husband of 64 years George; cherished children: Mark (Marion), Elizabeth (Basil Kennedy), Sean (Bonnie), Debbie (Angus Woodford), and Nick (Beverly); eleven grandchildren whom she treasured: Marlene (Michael Van der Weil), Marty (Jenny), Doug (Leslie), Angus Jr., Dianne (Joseph Lake), Sean Christopher, Andrew, Corey, Nicole and Sarah; five precious great-grandchildren: Sydney, Taylor, Claire, Daniel and latest Charla; her sister and best friend: Theresa Hannon; brothers-in-law: Patrick, Francis (Loretta); sisters-in-law: Evelyn Cleary, Nell Ezekiel and Amanda Brophy; a large number of nieces and nephews. Also leaving to mourn special friends, and long time neighbours, Mary and Alban Murphy; devoted caregiver: Debbie (Gus Buckle) and all those whose lives were touched by her motherly love.
