Originally of Calvert. Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. john's, surrounded by his loving family. Leaves to mourn his wife Esther, daughter Ann Marie and son-in-law Saloshi Matsuzawa; sisters: Millie Brake (Ray) and Eileen Crane (Raymond); brothers: Larry, Richard (Shirley), Arnold, Aiden (Mary Ellen), Kevin, Donald (Mary), Eric (Irene), Dermot (Florence), David (Eileen) and Gerald (Sheila); sisters-in-law Margaret LeBlanc, Mary O'Leary, Leonie Kennedy, Bea Murphy and Terry Belcourt (Christian); brothers-in-law: Ron Curran (Zita) and Edward Curran; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. Retired long-time employee of Newfoundland Power. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday from 6 -8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. No funeral by request. Burial to take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Calvert. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
