(Don) Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Patrick Donald Wadden, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his first wife, Helen (nee Doody) and sister, Ann Crockwell. Leaving to mourn his loving and best friend of 22 years, Grace (nee Peddle); sons: Donald and Tony of St. John's, Robert (Erin) of Ottawa; daughter Helen Reid (Clyde) of Ottawa; step-son Kurt Steen; step-daughter Valerie Steen; two grandsons: Jack and Joseph Wadden; sister Mary Toberman; brother Paul Wadden; brothers-in-law: Bill Peddle (Hilda) and Myles Doody; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow.
