(Nee Simms) Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home on Thursday, April 24, 2008, Elizabeth Rodgers nee Simms, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Gordon, February, 1995, her parents John and Elizabeth Simms, brothers: David, Arthur, Leo, Harry, John, Frank and Albert; sisters: Bride and Mary. Leaving to mourn her sister Theresa Hanlon (Leo); sister-in-law Eleanor Pynn (Fred); brother-in-law John Rodgers (Marjorie); nieces: Florence Green (Tom), Sister Marie Furey; nephew Charlie Furey (Joan); also many other nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from The Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society or to a charity of one's choice.
