Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Centre on April 26, 2008, Florence Didham of Whitbourne, age 81 years. Predeceased by her parents: Richard and Gertrude Purcell, daughter; Patricia, son; Alphonsus, son-in-law, Ernest Ryan, brothers-in-law; Mansfield Petipas and Frank English. Leaving to mourn her husband; Reginald Didham, son; Donald (Bev Ayres), Edmonton, daughter-in-law; Betty Didham and sisters, Louise Petipas, Fort McMurray, and Mary English, Placentia. Eight grandchildren; Lee Ryan (Yvonne), Darrin Ryan, Connie (Jim Lockyear), Don Jr. (Jill), Douglas, Danielle, Jamie, Mark (Jillian); 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, also other relatives and friends. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, April 29 at 3 p.m. from St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Whitbourne. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Whitbourne. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association.
