Passed peacefully away at the East General Hospital in Toronto on Monday, May 5, 2008, Philip McGrath, formerly of Patricks Cove, Placentia Bay, age 62 years. Predeceased by his parents Mame and Philip McGrath, brother Alphonsus, sister Mary, nephew Rob, niece Joyce, brother-in-law Bertie Young and special friend Suzanne. Leaving to mourn his sad loss wife Anita; daughter Julia Ann; brothers: John (Wilhelmina), Patricks Cove, Pat, Toronto, Paul, St. Bride's and Mike (Eileen), Goose Bay; sisters: Tilly Young, St. Bride's, Sheila McGrath (Gilbert), Patricks Cove and Bride Morrissey (Francis), Cuslett; best friend Robin Browne, Toronto and a large circle of other relatives and friends in Newfoundland and Toronto. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia pending flight arrival from Toronto. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Patricks Church, Patricks Cove at a time to be announced.
