Passed away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, Gordon Williams of Pouch Cove, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his wife Rachael (nee Mercer); his parents, William and Isabelle Williams; sister Harriet Lambert and brother Arthur. Leaving to mourn sisters: Olive Strugnell, Pouch Cove, Marina Janes, St. John's and Martha Harding, St. John's; step-daughters: Sylvia Hanlon (Leo) and family and Maxine Yetman (Tom) and family; step-son Raymond Caravan and family; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends; and special friend Frances Strugnell. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove.
